Throughout my career, an integral part of my work as been to develop thoughtful, on-brand communications that convey the core messages of each organization at which I’ve worked. I’ve also served as a contributing editor to several publications, including alumni magazines, stewardship reports and more.  >> Social Media: Content Strategy and Management

My most extensive work as a social media strategist comes from my role as the associate director of content marketing at DePaul University. In this role, I was responsible for leading a team charged with developing, implementing and measuring a documented content strategy to be used across three of the university’s social media properties. Composing compelling, concise content for social media has also been a component of many of the integrated marketing campaigns I’ve planned and/or executed during my time at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

>> Project Management

My strong project management capabilities have been key to my success while working in fast-paced environments with demanding workloads and communications schedules. I’ve worked with both internal marketing teams and external agencies—as well as with key project stakeholders — to develop print and digital communications to support fundraising, recruitment, awareness and other initiatives. The process includes several components: client consultation, print and vendor management, audience segmentation, proofreading, and budget and deadline management. Work has included:
